One of the most important tasks in software development is Testing. And if we think that network automation and network programmability is also a kind of software development, we also need Network Testing.

So, in the first part of this lab we did show how to configure and deploy a simple Lab with Vagrant. In this second part, we’re going to focus on the network nodes configuration using Ansible. We will create a different Ansible role for each network type:

Some days ago I was working on a project where some virtual machines implemented in AWS would announce services/IP public addresses to the Internet. While AWS has a nice service (Bring your own IP) for this purpose, this time we need to route this traffic to a local pop where the client has a physical facility full of racks, cables, routers, switches and firewalls. You know, the kind of toys that network guys used to love ;)
